As an avid art historian and lover of all things Italian, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa La Borghetta Spa Resort for a family vacation, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The setting of the hotel, looking out into the hills surrounded by greenery, felt like a scene from a painting, truly surreal. During our stay, we were not able to indulge in the pool and spa due to time constraints, but we did sneak a peek and were astounded by the serene and luxurious ambiance. The highlight of our stay was the exceptional dining experience - indulging in a divine meal paired with exquisite wine truly elevated our visit.One of the aspects that truly impressed me was the family-friendly amenities and activities offered at the hotel. As a family, we enjoyed exploring the old pilgrim's trail lined with seven antique hamlets, providing a glimpse into rich local history. Our visit to Vallombrosa, known for hosting the Queen of England, was a truly captivating experience for all of us.The staff at Villa La Borghetta were extremely accommodating and friendly, making our short stay truly memorable. I look forward to returning for a longer break and immersing myself in all the wonderful offerings this hidden gem has to offer.
